Those three athletes compete against each country in multiple stage races taking the best times out of each rider and averaging them out to find a winner. Nik Nestoroff would qualify this year for the trophy of Nations because he was ranked throughout the year in third place within the points standing system of Enduro. This was Nik’s first solid year competing in the Enduro category switching over from downhill racing for many years. Nik is super talented and has worked on his endurance and consistency to put stage racing together and become one of the best American Enduro racers we have for 2022. Along with the success of making the USA team Nik would finish 3rd place overall in the Big Mountain National series. Which is the highest level of racing on a National level. Nik would be competing in Final Ligure, Italy for the world event and have some of the hardest and most difficult tracks to race upon this season! The American team would also have high pressure on them since the last time this event was hosted in 2019 the American team came out on top! The team would tackle 4 grueling stages throughout the day. All the three athletes would have to stay consistent to manage the day, when all the dust settled and everyone had put in 100% it would be team USA coming in third place overall! It was an amazing accomplishment for the team to represent America and come out with a Bronze medal. It has been one heck of a season with everyone on the team accomplishing many goals and representing all our sponsors at the highest level! The team will all be heading into the holidays with confidence and determination to train hard throughout the off-season to come out swinging for 2023! KHS Pro MTB wants to thank all our family, friends and sponsors for the continued support, we look forward to representing everyone in 2023!
