Fontana Winter Series Round 3

KHS Pro MTB showcasing their skills against some of the best and deepest athletes on the West Coast.

Fontana Winter series round three kicked off this Saturday and Sunday with team members showcasing their skills against some of the best and deepest athletes on the West Coast. It would be our junior pro, Nate Kitchen, who would be holding it down and gunning for his third win in a row this season, Kailey Skelton would be debuting in her second race of the season in the pro women’s division and Steven Walton would be attending his fifth race of the season after showcasing his skills already in the E-bike racing, Enduro, racing and Downhill racing categories. All three racers would fire off Saturday with solid practice runs, Donnie Jackson  CEO of Southridge racing, always puts on a great track full of technical, physical and demanding efforts out of all athletes. All team athletes had great practice runs dialing in their lines and bikes for Sunday’s race final. This Fontana winter series round three would bring out some of the best pro racers that the USA has. It would be a stack filled in all categories. First down the hill would be Nate Kitchen who would continue his dominance in his junior pro category and take his third consecutive win of the season. Kailey Skelton would have an amazing performance and top her pro female downhill division with a massive lead. Steven Walton would be among some of the best pro athletes to show up to race the Fontana soil this season. We would have competition from other Factory, brands of the likes of Canyon, Commensal, and GT bicycles. Steven put in his best efforts and came in a solid fourth place, which would be his fifth consecutive podium finish of the season, still gaining momentum for the upcoming national race series that he will be representing in all four categories of dual slalom, Downhill, E-bike, and Enduro. It was a great success and representation showcasing our full exclusive new pit set up and representing KHS Bicycles, along with all of our amazing cosponsors. As usual, we always want to thank all of our family, friends, fans, and sponsors who continue to make the dream come true! The team will be heading straight back to homes to continue their off-season training success and testing. Hope to see you at the next race event.
