“Had a super quick weekend hanging out for the sea otter classic. It was great to catch up with everyone who supports our program and aligns with similar goals for the season. As for racing, I just competed in the downhill this year. I’ve always struggled on the BMX style track, but I was happy to have my best season otter finish so far and be right in the mix with how tight times are. I’m stoked to get the real race season started in a couple of weeks for the first BME”!

“2024 Sea Otter Classic is in the books! I had a great time cruising through the venue, seeing familiar faces and getting acquainted with new ones! It was rad to have some new faces under the KHS tents as well; McKenna and Jackson killed it this weekend! Unfortunately, my DH race didn’t go to plan with a big hiccup in an important rhythm lower down on the track – misjudged an on/off and lost my momentum in a crucial section of the course. All in all, it was a fun week with everyone, and I’m excited to get the first BME underway here soon!”

“Sea Otter Classic is always a great race to start the season!
It was a fun week with the team and got to meet and chat with all of our sponsors. I had a busy week racing enduro, dual slalom and downhill.
Enduro started off Thursday. I felt pretty good, but a crash on the last stage kept me from finishing on the podium. My KHS 6600 was performing so well, and I was happy to have a stage win that day! Slalom racing on Saturday was probably the most fun I had all week. A technical course made for some great racing and I made it to the round of 8. I look forward to doing more slalom racing on my 5500. Downhill on Sunday rounded out the weekend, I made a few mistakes in my race run and on this course with the times so tight you can’t make mistakes so while I finished 9th overall I know what I can work on moving forward. Overall, it was an awesome first-race weekend with the team. I am excited to head to the first round of the Big Mountain Enduro in a week and have a great rest of the season”!
