The season is in full swing with two back to back race weekends!

First was Windrock for the Tennessee National, my first time racing downhill here and the track was full on. It was quite a wake up call for my first race of the year. I went into the race knowing it would be a good warm up before the first monster energy DH series race. Throughout the weekend I was getting more comfy on the bike and worked a lot with Jon at SrSuntour getting my suspension dialed in. The rain ended up coming down on race day and it was a very muddy race, I unfortunately fell in my race run and went through the rest of the run the best I could.
Just 3 short days later we were back at it for round 1 of the Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series at Ride Rock Creek. I was excited for this race as the weather was awesome and I was building more confidence on the bike. The track was gnarly and high speed with lots of lines to figure out. I chose Kenda Pinners as my tire of choice for the fast, hard packed ground.
I was safe in my seeding run and knew I could pick up the pace in my race run.
Race day came and my run was going well with my first two splits being inside the top 10, I unfortunately came up short on a double half way down and had a pretty decent crash I managed to get up and salvage a 20th place finish.
I’m bummed to not start the season better but I’m happy with how my riding is progressing this early in the season. I’m looking forward to Sea otter this weekend and can’t wait for the rest of the year racing downhill and enduro.
A huge thank you to everyone supporting myself and the team this year, it’s going to be a good one!

So happy to have finally kicked off the 2025 race season.

The Tennessee National at Windrock Bike Park was awesome, the course was fast and technical with a lot of big features at the bottom. The women’s field was so stacked with people from all over the world including many top World Cup racers. I felt really good on this course and was really happy I pushed myself to hit some of the drops I hadn’t in prior years. The weather was good all weekend until race day, it rained all night into all day on Sunday for finals. This made the course really slick and hard to have a clean run. I had a quick off the track moment and just a plain sketchy run but I held it together enough to make it down with a solid 14th place against some of the best racers in the world. The following week was the first round of the Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series at Ride Rock Creek in North Carolina. Last year I finished third in the series overall standings which allowed me to pick a permanent number to race with for 2025, so I will be #3 for the remainder of the year. The course at Rock Creek is very physical with a lot of hard compressions, high speed and steep sections. We got more practice at this race than any other race I’ve been to so I got a total of 13 practice laps before racing. I was struggling a bit mentally with hitting some of the features on course but finally pushed myself to do it before racing which I am really happy about. I shaved about three and a half seconds off of my time from seeding to racing and finished in 24th place in a huge women’s field. I made a lot of good progress on the bike and mentally at these first two races and I am excited to take what I learned and implement it into my training headed into the next race. Thank you so much to the KHS Pro MTB Team and all of our amazing co-sponsors for the support. I am so grateful to be given this opportunity to race my bike in such awesome places. Back to work till the next one!
