Big Mountain Enduro Rd. 4 Brian Head, UT

Round 4 of the Big Mountain Enduro series kicked off this past weekend in the high-altitude terrain of Brian Head, Utah.

The event drew some of the world’s top riders, including the reigning Enduro World Champion, all vying for a shot at the podium—and to capture standout media moments for their sponsors.

Representing KHS Bicycles in the elite male and female categories were Shane Leslie and Bella Naughton, both determined to defend their positions in the overall series standings. Unfortunately, teammate Naish Ulmer was sidelined this round, as eBike racing was not part of the Brian Head program.

Saturday’s race opened with three grueling backcountry stages, testing endurance, navigation, and fitness at altitude. Sunday brought a shift to the resort’s bike park, where five technical and high-speed stages challenged even the most experienced racers.

The level of competition was fierce, but our athletes rose to the occasion. Bella Naughton delivered a stellar performance, securing second place in the elite women’s field, while Shane Leslie fought hard through all stages and finished a strong sixth in the elite men’s category—just shy of the podium. Both riders maintained their positions as overall series leaders heading into Round 5.

With July in full swing, the racing calendar doesn’t slow down. The team now sets their sights on Round 3 of the Monster Energy Downhill Series, taking place next weekend in Solitude, Utah.

We’ll see you between the tape in the Rocky Mountains!
