Had the best time in Idaho for the third round of the North West Cup Race Series. I flew into Boise on Thursday evening, got the bike built up, and was ready to go for practice on Friday. This was my seventh time racing this race, and the course hasn’t changed much, so I got up to speed pretty quickly in practice. I got a bit more practice before my seeding run on Saturday and slotted into third in seeding 8, seconds back in first place, so I knew I had some time to make up on race day. We were allowed one sight lap before racing on Sunday; then, it was time to go. I had a good run, but the race course was super sketchy and blown out by the end of the weekend, so I was happy to get through everything clean. Finished third overall in the race, shaving almost three seconds off my time from seeding and being much closer to first and second places times. Super happy with my riding and stoked to keep the momentum rolling through the rest of the season. I always have the best time at this race and I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to go again this year. Thanks so much to the KHS Pro Team and the awesome co-sponsors for their continued support!
