Killington, VT — 9/27/2025 — The KHS Pro MTB Race Team proudly wrapped up another successful weekend of racing at the legendary U.S. Open of Mountain Biking, hosted in Killington, Vermont. Known as one of the biggest stages in U.S. downhill racing, the event drew elite riders from around the country — and KHS athletes rose to the challenge.
Shane Leslie powered through the steep, technical course and secured a 38th-place finish in the pro men’s field. Competing against a stacked lineup of the fastest riders in the nation, Leslie demonstrated grit and consistency on one of the most demanding courses on the circuit.
On the women’s side, McKenna Merten showcased her speed and determination, claiming an impressive 21st-place finish in the pro women’s category. Battling slick conditions and fierce competition, Merten proved once again she’s a rising force to watch on the U.S. downhill scene.

KHS Pro MTB continues to build momentum this season with standout performances across the country. With a relentless drive to compete at the highest level, the team is setting sights on the remainder of the race calendar and beyond.
